Retold (SERE001) is now sold out. We may get a few more copies in if stock is returned from distributors or retailers over time. Keep an eye out because this title is now very scarce.
It makes me very happy indeed to be able to say that we are finally back online. After an extended period of hibernation we're back with a new strategy, new site design, new logo and new music just around the corner. There are several announcements that we've been holding back until the site was ready, read on to find out more.
First up, we've decided the time is right to explore some carefully considered commercial avenues. That means all our releases from here on in are going to be available in physical form, produced to the highest standard and available in good quantities. You will be able to purchase physical and digital goods directly through this site, as well as in select independent stores worldwide.
We will no longer offer all our music for free download, but for those willing to invest some time in the project, free downloads and other assorted good-stuff will become available over time. We have also started a new side-project called "Forecasts", this will be an ongoing mix-tape series put together by various friends and contributors. The first of these, "Reintroduction" is online now and contains previously unreleased material from Nest, 1000 Hours of Staring, Stephane Leonard and Michael Trommer. We also present exclusive tracks from Segue and Pine who we're very happy to have on-board.
The second piece of news is that our 'first' release is to be a reissue of Nest's self-titled 2007 EP. This will contain the original six pieces as well as several new, unreleased tracks, doubling the length of the original release. The tracks will be professionally (re)mastered and beautifully packaged along with new artwork. We have not set a release date for the album yet, but hope to take pre-orders at the beginning of November.
That's all for now, we realise the site is a little sparse at the moment, but we will be padding it out with new pages and features in the coming weeks. Your comments and feedback are most welcome, please register to get started!

great to see one of my favourite netlabels back online! also anxiously awayting the new nest material, yet i feel a little strange as i already own the cd.
as for the commercial outings: will they also be creative commons? as i proved i am only too willing to pay also for a cc-cd, but i admit that i hesitate more to buy a not-cc cd.
plus with cc i know i can review it on my podcast & stuff, especially as i am interested in supporting the artists and really independent labels, but not any collecting society. ;-)

Our releases will no longer be released under the CC license. The reasons are too many and too complex to go into in any depth here, but there is no reason why you shouldn't review the music on your podcast, provided you use your discretion. It's one thing to upload an album to rapidshare the day after its release, quite another to use a track in a meaningful way, sympathetic to the copyright owner(s). As you say, if your primary concern is supporting us, then I'm sure you won't go far wrong.
Ultimately, I'd hope that your primary reason for buying our releases would be because you were into them and wanted to support us and the artists.
Thanks for all the feedback fellas, and the gabardine gal ;)
